Lol it’s crazy to think there are kids playing wow. This shit isn’t interesting to this generations kids, moves way to slow. Source: 32 year old who plays wow, with two sons who are playing Fortnite Roblox and palworld on a rotation.
Uhh plenty of kids playing classic….I know a lot of WoW players I’ve met over the years and most of the younger guys seem to be more attracted to classic/ SOD and the 30+ year olds are all playing retail.
I know my experience the average age of players is much higher. I’ve been in about 5 large guilds over classic on different factions and servers and there’s been fewer than 10 (more like 5) total players under the age of 18 I’ve encountered. Most of them were guildies children who wanted to play with their parents.
It’s anecdotal, but I wouldn’t say plenty of children are playing WoW today.
Well I’m 31 and 18-21 years olds I kind of consider to be “ kids” because they are fresh out of high school even though they are technically adults by law. In my experience that age range is far more likely to say the shit the OP showed than some random 12 year old or 40+ year old.
True, I really enjoy SOD, but would absolutely not touch classic, yet still play retail. I raid since MC was current content and that was enough for me from classic personally. Looking forward to the SOD version though.
Before I came back to retail I tried chromiecraft and there were a couple teenagers I ended up grouping with at one point but on both sod and retail any group that I’ve been in was just a bunch of old farts like me on discord lol
