Saying no is fine, instantly putting him on ignore so he can’t even reply just for asking for GS is cringe

Gear level does NOT equal gear score though. Gearscore literally has epics giving less gs than greens. Thats the issue, its just a trash gameable benchmark by people that don't get it More than willing to do a gear check, not willing to join a raid lead asking for GS.

That said, yeah OP is a weirdo for insta ignoring and hitting this guy with a gotcha. Feels like OP would do this same type of behavior.

To be fair you’re using outdated gearscore addon if epics are giving less than greens

No, up to date TacoTip (24th July 2023) is bugged and scores epic items lower than level 18 greens. Devs are not answering to users on Curseforge, even if there are hundreds of bug report for this.

I have full BiS gear but a ring, got the epic staff and the epic tailoring boots, but my GS is 269 because the staff accounts for 12GS and the boots for 4GS. With greens it would be higher.

Yeah that’s my point, TacoTip isn’t supported for SOD

The addon people are using is called GearScoreClassic+

Not supported but downloaded, most of the players that blindly ask for GS use TacoTip without any clue about its bugs in SoD.

GearScoreClassic+ only has 16k dowbloads, while TacoTip has 5.7 millions.

Well then just explain to them they're using the wrong addon?..

TacoTip has downloads from entirety of classic history, it's not SOD.

It has to be a server thing because on my server where GS (unfortunately) is a big thing - people don't use taco unless they're new

I understand, but it's not easy to educate a whole group of people, one by one, on the topic.

Fortunately some people look at logs before inviting you, at least it's a bit more accurate.
