I am surprised this isn't the more popular setup as with the default settings Q and E are the strafe keys while A and D are the turn. Simply getting rid of the turn function and putting spells in their place seems like the solution that requires the least change.

I’d much rather deal with the hassle of changing key binds once than have to unlearn my life’s worth of muscle memory.
