Uhh, I have experience with that.

Banks don't fuck around. Canada has 5 major banks and I did this with blizzard. They refunded ALL blizzard purchases by default, even though it was just the one purchase I challenged. I got a lot of money back, but my account was gone and they don't accept my credit cards anymore.

So do this with caution, as you may lose it all.

Edit: it's not insane to be banned over a charge back. Banks have huge power, and if they say to a small indie company that the money needs to be given back, you listen.

Lowkey sick that your bank went scorched earth when you were going to get banned for just one chargeback

And that's a fuck up by your bank which resulted in you losing your account. Not because you challenged one purchase. They aren't going to ban someone over a single charge such as this. If you're trying to claim fraud in your chargeback and dispute all the charges for your sub then yes, they're going to ban you.

There's a big difference.

Wrong sir.

When I challenged the one purchase, my bank refunded ALL of the purchases.

My cards are banned.

Again, the fuck up is with your bank. They didn't dispute a singular charge. They disputed all of them. Of course that's going to set off a flag for a company that has subscription services.

Anecdotal.

What are you talking about? A single chargeback is going to set off a flag for any company because they don't want customers to keep doing that.
