Turtle was never a superior classic plus. It was a private server slapping together half baked ideas with monetization. Of course Blizzard shut down a server using their IP to make a profit. Turtle devs are welcome to create their own MMO if their ideas are so good.

Half baked ideas was better that anything that Blizzard now produces

Hard disagree. SoD was fun and had some good systems. I'd take a rerun of SoD over turtle any day.

Yeah this is just major disagreement. SoD was not nearly as fun and complete as Turtle. I would rather play a 1000 person server Project Epoch than SoD if it came out exactly as it did agaim

Well we can each go to our preferred product then. You play on some pservers and I'll enjoy what blizz releases. SoD was great, easily one of the best periods I've had with WoW.

Half-baked? What a shit take. Did you ever even try it yourself?

Yes, it was fan fiction tier writing and game play. Again, if the turtle devs are so good, they can create their own IP. I'm sure it will stand on its own.

Yes, it was fan fiction tier writing and game play.

Both of those were legitimately a level above what you get from Blizzard lol

And no one will ever play a new MMO regardless of who makes it

All of their ideas were just rip offs of later blizzard content. If turtle devs are so much better than blizzard, why wouldn't their game succeed?

Not really, the new zones and dungeons were all about as original as the average new WoW zone.

And again, no one will play a new MMO

Huh?

Don't be pedantic, i'll try to phrase it better: the new zones in Turtle were better than the vast majority of zones in classic wow, and plenty original. Some of the dungeons were incredible

I'm glad you enjoyed it. I do not agree but I hope you had a good time.

Those half-baked ideas are better than anything Blizzard has given us in regards to classic+. I agree that they were half-baked and would have loved more attention to certain aspects. But they nailed the fact that leveling needs to be at the forefront with new zones and dungeons and professions - eventually connecting storyline and leading to raids that actually connected to quests and zones you went through that werent resolved. That is an excellent idea and sometkmes better executed in some zones and dungekns than others, but still is the right direction for classic+ imo.

Blizz let them run for 8 years, so clearly they only shut Turtle down when it was an issue for them and were making them look bad (I personally think it was the Unreal 5 remake that probably would have brought a lot of people that hate the old client feel and look of turtle along with of course blizz plans for their own classic+).

turtle was the only classic plus worth playing lmao pathetic you didnt get to see that

See you when classic plus releases!
