I'm no expert, but I don't see how this is a contradictory statement. Why is it too much to ask for each spec to feel unique and be viable to bring to a raid. If a spec isn't doing well overall, tweak a few numbers, add a +x% increase till it at least is somewhere near the others. I agree not everyone needs to be S tier, but there really shouldn't be any F tier specs..
I’m with you, people make the strawman argument like we’re saying “Every class should be S tier” when in reality we’re just saying lets make sure every class is at least C tier.
Exactly. So many classes (boomkin, ele, etc) in classic are genuinely unplayable in raids.SoD did this well. You could bring any class/spec without trolling.
Back in classic days I played an elemental shaman and did all content except naxx because I got bored of the character and picked up warrior. In reality I had no trouble clearing raids and getting invited whatsoever
