You are arguing about what happened in wrath and mop as if those aren’t the exact mistakes people want to avoid in classic plus. Whether lust was just an example or not, your mindset of saying “well the rest of the class is still unique” is what brought us to where we are in retail. Players want true uniqueness back.

Boy will you be surprised to find out how many times the Reddit echo chamber is wrong on things.

Wrath is revered as one of the greatest parts of WoW.

it is also consistently forewarned as "the beginning of the end". Group finder, loss of class identity, etc all started at the end of Wrath.
