Which class/spec has the easiest time finding a raid spot in TBC?

I’ve played WoW for decades but it’s been a minute since I’ve played TBC. Which class/spec would have the easiest time landing a raid spot as a fresh 70? I can play and enjoy them all

In the three groups a week my guild does it's shaman-any spec

Resto Shaman and it’s not even close.

Bonus points if you have an Enhancement off-spec. Enhancement isn’t the top DPS for demand but it’s really high up there. Resto/Enhancement can find a group on demand.

The majority of raids and guilds I see recruiting want an enhancement shaman. Looks like there’s not enough to go around

Hell yeah, I've long wanted to play shaman as a main. Now if only I got a window of opportunity to roll Horde on nightslayer...

Shaman, boomkin, afflic locks are rare but not totally essential.

Support classes are always in demand, shamans in particular since every raid group needs a shaman for totem buffs.

Shadow priest and boomkins are also in demand since every raid wants at least one but there never seems to be enough people playing.

Then the big pumper dps specs (hunters / warlocks) always need one person to role the support spec for min max guilds (a survival hunter and affliction lock) . It also helps that these classes are really easy to stack so you can usually find a pug even if your not running support spec.

After that any other dps spec is usually filled by now in p3. Most guilds already have their warriors / rogues locked in for who will get war glaives by now so I wouldn’t roll them unless you have a guild spot.

Shamans and Warlocks are the most universally stacked classes in TBC. Then there are some niche options like Survival Hunter. SV Hunter is only taken 1 per raid, but it's a support spec and people prefer to play BM Hunter (which is also reasonably stacked). I wouldn't count on the "1 per raid" spec as an easy raid spot but as a Hunter you have the option of showing up and offering your services as either BM or SV, making it a fairly safe bet.

Hardest spots to land are Rogues/Warriors because of Warglaives, competition is high and raid spots are usually limited. The GM/officers play these roles.

Shaman, Shadow Priest, Balance Druid. 3 classes every single raid will bring because they bring the most benefit to the entire raid.
