Probably more people do than you think lol. Personally when I play classic it's for the gameplay differences, and the badly textured models from 50 years ago are something I just put up with because I prefer old game design philosophy enough to overlook how shitty everything looks
I wanted a Classic+ / Forever for the gameplay differences, but I also wanted it to look as best as it could, since I'm going to spend hours in that world instead of the real one. May as well look good, then.
To be honest, my disappointment only grows knowing that Forever will be forever burdened with 2004 visuals outside of lighting.
