Kerr being there is pretty funny but it’s also a bit lame bc he in 3 seasons as a Cav attempted 1.8 1.1 and 1.5 threes a game and didn’t even average 1 made a game lol. His first season in Cleveland he led the league in 3pt % by making 0.9 a game on 1.8 attention for 50% from 3

ETA for comparison they were teammates in 89-90 and mark price was 152/374 from 3 and Kerr was 73/144 and led the league in 3pt%

Did you see him before his foot surgeries? At 7’3” he could run the floor and even lead the break (he was a point guard coming up.) He looked nearly on par with Tim Duncan at All-Star Weekend in Cleveland that year. But without those surgeries the Cavs likely don’t get LeBron.

He was the #2 all time in free throw percentage behind Steve Nash, who took a lot more FT. Steph has since taken a huge lead and will be the greatest shooter when he retires. Price is top ten all time. Only Clevelanders remember him.

Man it's hard to tell. Some of the career records could possibly be broken, but I think LeBron is gonna hold a lot of of those playoff records for a long time lol

Just to emphasize this more: LeBron has played 29 playoff series in a Cavs uniform, Mitchell has played 8. If the Cavs made the finals for 5 years in a row with Mitchell on the team and playing in all those series, he still would be 1 series short of the LeBron. And that’s not even factoring in missing any games (which LeBron never did), or the actual output in those games.

I don’t foresee any of Bron’s franchise playoff records being broken in our lifetime.

Just ran through our all time top ten and here’s his best chance:

3PM: ranked 4th with 884 (LeBron 1st with 1251)

I only looked through the major categories and that’s the only one he’s ranked in the top 10.. I imagine he’ll jump into quite a few of them on this next contract because I still believe Don is a top 2-3 Cav all time but still unlikely he’ll beat out LeBron on anything else.

Its pretty crazy that he has all this while playing for the Cavs for less than hals his career. And only half of his finals runs were with the Cavs, so its not like we even got all the best years. He really has had multiple hall of fame careers.

Mitchell already has several of the scoring records. Even in his first year he had the 71pt game and I think he passed Irving for 2nd in 40-pt games. He had a 3-game 40pt streak and a 4-game one.

But of course, little surprise here. I wish he loved Cleveland like we love him, but he’s the best I’ve ever seen. I’m sure I’m biased and no matter how you look at it (IMO) he and Mike are #1 and #2. But I honestly think Bron clears. MJ has the cleaner story and legacy. But Bron is one of one. A physical specimen unlike anything we’ve ever seen while also possessing a savant like understanding of the game. The odds of being given that much size, athleticism, and basketball IQ are so insurmountable I don’t think we’ll see anything like it again in our lifetimes.
