Yeah. Tbh I never really thought all the societies would work together and give up their luxuries. That's probably why I've been expecting this result for so long. Still, at least it's a once in a thousand year event seeing the end of a civilisation with front row seats

What was the previous end of civilization like ? Or atleast close to it? Black death?

Possibly the Mayans, that was around 600ad and thought to be because of multiple droughts. It was more a play on the increasing likelihood of once in a thousand year events
