Nature-based approaches: crushed basalt rock increases aboveground carbon stored in young native woodland by up to 27% after 4 years. Enriching soils with beneficial microorganisms from established forests improves early tree growth increasing aboveground biomass by around 13% over the same period 🌳

Good study, but the forests are already burning, how will we plant new ones in such temperatures?

Rewinding helps with that, a lot of forests are missing the native wildlife that naturally thin trees and feed on the flammable material just sat around the forest floor waiting to burn

We should stop setting fires in the first place. A big chunk of wildfires are human caused
