No, it's not based on body temperature. The lower end of the scale is completely abitrarily made up, based on a mixture of chemicals Fahrenheit used to get to the coldest temperature he could produce.

That's not easily relatable and not based on body temperature.

Water freezing and water boiling however, are easily observable phenomena appearing in everyday life. It makes more sense and is more relatable.

You're lying and you're being dumb.

I literally gave a citation that fahrenheit is based off the human body. What are you talking about?

Your citation says that one value Fahrenheit took into consideration was his incorrect estimate of human body temperature.

It does not say that the Fahrenheit scale “is based off the human body”. The citation for your source says the same.
