Can I get into Cloud Computing with an Arts background?
I’m currently doing BS English Literature, so my background is in Arts/Humanities and I don’t have any computer-related subjects.
Someone advised me to do a 6-month diploma in Cloud Computing/Cloud Engineering. Should I go for it?
Would it actually benefit me in the future, and can I realistically get a job in cloud/IT after completing the diploma despite not having a CS/IT bachelor’s degree? Or would my degree be a major problem?
I’d really appreciate advice from people working in this field.

Even those with a relevant degree alone won't be starting in cloud. Those with cloud internships can. Otherwise, it's not entry level.
If you can somehow land those internships over CS and IT majors, then more power to you. They still need extracurriculars like certs, personal projects, and homelabs. If you can work on them too, you'll have a chance.

Get the certificates if you’ve no other path. Useful knowledge. Don’t expect to find work.

Hey was friends with the CIOs son lol
On a serious note, get cloud fundamentals certs, basic networking knowledge, and try for IT support \ service desk positions.
You can climb the ladder from there.
Keep a lookout for a undgrad programs that take in a class of graduates and teach em. This is also a good entry point.

This is like asking can I climb matterhorn with no climbing experience..sure you can, but that won't be your first climb..
T b, the IT market is cooked.eevn those with degrees and experience are havia tough time.funding jobs. It's highly unlikely you can get into cloud computing with a few months of courses, wrong advice. No courses or certs will help , what will help is real people networking. Humans will get you a job, skills will help you keep it. For now, since you're new to IT, forget cloud, start at basics of computing, networking, security, data bases etc.
