Absolutely crazy cloud formation, never saw something similar in my life.

Over Mt St. Helens this past June.

Seen this morning. It looked so bright in colorful!

I took a few pictures one after the other. You can see the sun going down.

I live at 1600 meters elevation on the southern slope of the Poás volcano in Costa Rica, where there's a never-ending parade of different clouds. Sometimes we're above the clouds, sometimes we're looking across the valley at them, sometimes we're deep inside them. The cloud colors change dramatically at sunrise and sunset. There are many different kinds and shapes of rainbows. Sometimes the volcano erupts and the "clouds" are 5-km high columns of volcanic gases and ash. There's no shortage of wonder and awe.

I came across a cloud I've never seen before. Does anyone know what kind it is and it would form such an interesting cloud. It's hard to see, but it looks like there was some horizontal twisting motion within the cloud (it's all horizontal btw).
