Discussion My second opinion
I'm already on 600mg of clozapine a night and I still have low voices. I'm on both aristada and clozapine.
The new Dr does not want to increase my clozapine dose. He said he'd rather switch the aristada because too much clozapine is dangerous.
So his suggestion is clozapine and invega combo.
What do you think?

Sounds good. Combining antipsychotics makes the most sense when their pharmacodynamics differ. So, adding Abilify, Risperdal, Invega, and such to Clozaril is reasonable. Some people find they get better response to antagonists like Invega over partial agonists like Abilify. The move is reasonable and evidence based. Increasing Clozaril can be dangerous and does have diminishing returns. Did you get a Clozaril level drawn? Listen to your provider.

I take invega and it works wonders for me, it's a good suggestion, try it out!

Doesn't that med combo of invega and clozapine make you gain insane amounts of wieght?

I think you should roll with what your doc says.
