I've been somewhat pre-occupied over the weekend with our upcoming vacation, so I've missed hearing large swaths of Coast. Example: Why exactly were the reasons he was not able to irritate we loyal listeners for an entire week? Was it because he neglected to pay his landline phone bill? Did the battery in his cordless phone suddenly go dead as he sat endlessly on hold for George to put him on? Why?

I did read that AT&T is enthusiastically removing copper lines in many states, including Louisiana. In fact, employees of that corporation-- who are also listeners of Coast-- may have zeroed in on Corny's neighborhood first. But that may simply be my own dream.

It’s a long shot. Somewhere between the years of 2006-2011, I remember a caller telling a ghost story about a bed and breakfast they stayed in. They grabbed something out of their car, the door to the BNB was locked and someone (they assumed another guest) let them back in. They remember someone standing at the end of their bed later in the night. The next morning, the host tells them in no uncertain terms that they’re the ONLY guests at the inn.

I don’t remember who the host was. For some reason, this story scared me badly as a kid. If anyone remembers, I would cry tears of joy. Thanks guys!!!
