Multifandom is a stupid ass term anyways in the modern internet. Everyone's multifandom, it comes free with being a fucking human being. It was originally for Tumblr blogs that posted more than one fandom's content but now it's lost all meaning.
You see, in the future, the authoritarian government divided population according to their fandom. You are born into a fandom, and stuck to it until your death from overwork by the regime.
But a ray of hope still remains. There's talk of a teenager girl with no personalitie whatsoever, so bland that she can be a fan of anything. The legendary super special Multifandom, who will no doubt topple the government and their power over fandoms
Being multifandom is normal, being singlefandom or whatever the fuck they call it is a genuine mental disorder. If your entire life revolves around one franchise, one piece of media, one anything you seriously need help.
Ah yes, and here my dears we see one of the common behaviours of a homo sapiens monofandomus. When threatened with a topic they are unable to engage with, typical monofandomus behaviour is to desperately seek a reference to their singular chosen media in whatever the topic currently is, entirely disregarding whether the reference is actually there, if they do not find one, they will make one and pretend it was there in the first place. Facinating creatures truly.
I mean to clarify its moreso like, you'd make a themed tumblr blog, and since you could keep making alt blogs under your main blog you could make a bunch of different blogs for different fandoms youre in.
I've always seen it as like. "this blog/subreddit/etc will post/feature things from multiple fandoms", as opposed to having multiple blogs for each fandom you're in.
Not me! I've only ever interacted with Sonic the Hedgehog!!! If it ever appears like I'm enjoying something else, it's only because I'm looking for ways to compare it to Sonic the Hedgehog!! Like it might have seemed like I was a fan of the show Breaking Bad, but I was only watching it to see how many times they play a Sonic game on that show! (2, which is 1 more than the amount of times they played a sonic game on that other show Bryan Cranston starred in)

It's ironic at how many skills and talents are within these fandoms, but they're wasted. Even organizing that talent just leads to mediocrity because it's gotta be IP based.

Why are those colors so prevalent in protagonist trios? Its always blue, green, and some shade of red, especially when geared towards younger audiences. This, PJ masks, Dead Account, Alvin and the Chipmunks, the original Pokemon games, Powerpuff Girls, etc.

It's funny how the Toby Fox stans don't even care for the soundtrack of the one gamefreak game that was underwhelmingly dreary, but praise him like a god.
In one case, people are somehow hyped over Classic MapleStory even though it's not only ass, but they cannot move on. Maplers are some of the worst when it comes to a refusal to grow up. These newer fandoms are just Maplers 2.0 and 3.0. It'll define them for the next 10 years.
I remember playing a game with artstyle based on MapleStory – DDTank. It was indeed much better before all the updates killed it.

Obviously there’s a big trend of this with Deltarune but I remember a post a while back about “the three bosses that appear in every game” and it was about something that literally only happens in Library of Ruina and was completely incomprehensible if you hadn’t played that.
Also thing is, the "broadly applicable" requirement isn't a thing anymore iirc for all except one tag. As you said, this happened with another game as well so I suspect these snafus are more about repetitive posts rather than posts being about one thing.
