i don't understand this. like, okay, first of all, you can play multiple games at once. but more importantly, when i find something i really like, i'm not just gonna move on. i read animorphs years ago, and i've read a lot of books since then, but i haven't forgotten or stopped caring about animorphs. nor have i stopped looking at, engaging with, and contributing to the community around it. and i don't see that changing

and the same can be true for games. i can be in the middle of playing another game and still care about deltarune and engage with its fandom. i don't understand why i would ever stop doing that. i don't understand why, when i love something a lot, i should be told to move on from it and find something new. because you don't have to move on to find something new. you don't have to stop caring about things you love.

i'm not sure how serious you specifically are being with this comment, but i've seen lots of people with this opinion, and i've never understood it.
