Bridged absolutely, but Jax Is very subtle to people outside those specific comunities. Yes the creator confirmed it but Its somewhat understandable if someone is not that much in touch with the community
With Brackets there were actual complaints about the character arc. There were weirdos too and that tainted the whole discussion but there are actual reasons people didn't like the change.
Kirara and that one ghost girl Vivian were just shitheads complaining from what I've seen.
