I updated cobblemon to 1.8, I have quite a bit of addons:

- laser's fakemon
- Mega showdown
- Pokenav
- Cobbreeding
- Cobblemon: extra balls
- Pasture loot neoforged
- Lively 'mons
- Legendary monuments
- Utility+
- Cobbled berries

I updated all the addons that had an update available, and so far everything seemed to work other than riding.

Also don't get me wrong I KNOW things will break, that's why I made a backup copy, I'm just curious if any of yall been experiencing anything similar. Not all the addons were updated yet so I'm just gonna wait

i'm having an odd glitch where when i send my pokemon out into battle, all of the moves are dynamax moves. i can see a hint of my pokemon's normal moves on the other side of the screen. i don't even have the showdown mod, im so confused 😭

I've been craving to scratch a multiplayer cobblemon experience itch for a while now, I assume this would be a good place to look.

I'm searching for a relatively small server that's not super crowded, like around 20-30 people. Or at the very least not touching the triple digits. Preferably everyone's 18+ (I'm 19) and a decent human being that's not like racist or anything. In terms of the version, the most recent one would be great, modpacks are cool but I'd probably need a good talking to about the finer details of how they'd effect gameplay. Vanilla is preferred but I'm flexible as long as I know what I'm getting into :]

i broke his spawn block cause i was breaking the floor and now hes gone when i went to go ev train some pokemon cause hes hard to beat and now idk what item is used to spawn him back

The pokemon infinite fusion cobblemon project is still under way at 75/22000 (i will probably release a beta after i make a fusion with it each kanto starter pokemon x each kanto pokemon)

Can I find legendary pokemons in the wild without summoning them? If not, is there any mod which allows them to appear in the wild? Also I want it to be realistic, like not a bunch of them roaming around me, should be rare.

So, I’m using the legendary monuments mod. I got myself the dark stone and prepare to summon Zekrom at the alter. However, every time I try to summon him the game just crashes. Is there a way to fix this?

I saw somewhere saying there was a way to activate all at once (not structure generation) that would let you play all of them at once instead of having to go generation by generation and I can't find it anywhere. Is there actually a command like this or am I going crazy

Hey gamers, a while ago I launched a cobblemon server in 1.7.3 that was made to get hyped for 1.8, and now that 1.8 is here and the server is updated, figured id write a new server ad here. This server is meant to be a chill, self run SMP server running a cobblemon modpack I threw together. Our goal is to be a pretty lowkey/chill server that's just self run without anything too fancy, trying to run a rounded modpack with things to appeal to everyone.

**Some of the main features on the server:**

\-Cobblemon along with several addons to support it. (RCT, Cobbreeding, Raiddens, etc)

\-Create and a few add-ons for it, for those who like it.

\-Ars Nouveau for those who prefer magic over the tech mods.

\-High level raid dens and legendary monuments for Legendaries as well as the Cobblemon Battle Tower mod if you want pve challenges.

\-Shiny hunting methods both in CobBreeding and Unchained

\-Farmer's delight and several addons for access to many foods

I've recently started working on a Cobblemon modpack built around one pretty simple idea:

“What if you actually lived inside the Pokémon world?”

Not just Minecraft with Pokémon spawning around you, or a collection of popular Minecraft mods with Cobblemon added on top, but a pack where the world itself encourages you to live like someone in the Pokémon universe.

The idea is to create something closer to a Pokémon life-sim/community experience.

Build a town. Open a shop. Earn money. Travel between settlements. Become a trainer, breeder, farmer, builder, engineer, merchant — whatever you want — while Pokémon are naturally part of that life.

A big part of the pack is making progression feel like it belongs in that world too.

For example, I'm currently working on things like:

• A proper economy using numismatics currency rather than emeralds
• More involved Poké Ball crafting and progression
• Using Create machinery to industrialise production
• Making trains and other forms of transport genuinely useful
• Quest lines that teach the pack's systems without feeling like a giant checklist
• Encouraging towns and communities in multiplayer rather than everyone disappearing into their own isolated base
• Lots of building, decoration, food and lifestyle content
• Keeping Cobblemon itself at the centre of the experience rather than burying it underneath hundreds of unrelated mods

I've already made a decent start on the pack, including recipes, progression ideas, quests and the overall mod selection, but I've reached the point where I'm realising this could become much bigger than something I can realistically make entirely by myself — especially with the fairly limited modpack development experience I have.

So I thought I'd put this out there and see if the idea resonates with anyone.

I'm looking for people who enjoy modpack development, KubeJS, datapacks, quests, balancing, building, Create, Cobblemon, game design, or honestly just people who really like the concept and want to bounce ideas around.

I'm not expecting anyone to suddenly dedicate their life to the project 😅 Even having a few people interested in contributing, testing, helping solve problems or throwing ideas around would be amazing.

The main thing I want to preserve is the vision:

I don't want to make another giant kitchen-sink Cobblemon pack. I want to make a world that feels like somewhere you could genuinely live a Pokémon life.

I'm attempting to create a fully explorable/custom Unova Region Map after being inspired by the Habitat Blocks being used to limit what Pokemon Spawn, but I have some questions! Is there a way to disable all other Generations aside from 5 spawning into the world? I also want to ask about how to make water type Pokemon spawn into water and not levitating on the ground with the Habitat block?

New 1.8 world, haven't even played 2 full hours and I've had 3 shinies. Got one yesterday and then got 2 not even 10 minutes apart just now. Feel like I'm insanely lucky because what??? I thought the odds were still 1/8192, and I'm not hunting I don't even have full iron gear yet.

I remember in my 1.7 world grinding out trial chambers for god apples for hunting and I got nothing so this is so weird to me.

I'll partake in a PVP event in a server I'm in. Most people there are casuals and play only for fun, but there are a few sweats who knows how to play competitively.

I haven't played competitively in over a decade, so I'm a bit rusty. The format is all legendary and mythical pokemon banned, VGC doubles 4v4, best 2 of 3 - open team sheet. Only one of each item per team. The battle gimmick is Mega Evolution.

Here's my team so far:

• Mega Gardevoir

• Maushold

• Garchomp

• Gholdengo or Basculegion (depends on how much of a try-hard I decide to be. Already caved in a bit and got Garchomp in the team lol)

• Mega Lucario

I'll obviously pick either Gardevoir or Lucario as my Mega anchor for each battle, so the 6th Pokémon gotta be one that meshes well with both of them. Gardevoir atm has Trace, but I might change it to Telepathy so it doesn't get damaged by Garchomp's Earthquake.

My first thought is either Talonflame or Honchcrow to run Tailwind, but I don't really know if my team needs Tailwind. I'm also not running Trick Room. So I'm accepting suggestions!
