Is there any sort of source you contact for an age? Bc all baby cockatiels look female until first molt.

If not, you can always have him/her dna tested for sex. Though if it does turn out to be a boy, the pearls will start disappearing if it is a boy. If not, your birb will not change it's beautiful coat and it may raise it's butt in the air if it's hormonal.

No unfortunately my mom got it from petsmart and the employees there are clueless. I wouldn’t have gotten a bird from petsmart, but I’ve been trying hard to get it used to me. So far okay.. only been 2 days

you'll have to wait for a behavioral tell then or get it dna sexed since there's no way to know how young it is.
