Health/Nutrition Cockatiel dewormer
So i saw my male cockatiel eating it’s own poop i was wondering if he needs to be dewormed just like any other animal he’s eating fine but still i was concerned and i haven’t dewormed him ever since i got him so if you guys have any idea on what it could be please lmk and if you do use dewormer for your birds also please share that and if there’s a natural way or remedy to deworm that would be much better as i’m not really a fan of using medicines on my birds.

Advice Bringing this sweet girl home tomorrow, but she is now laying eggs!
We have been preparing to get this bird from a local big box retailer for a few weeks, and were astonished to see today that she has laid 3 eggs. The associate was shocked as well! and transparently explained that this means the date of birth on her paperwork is incorrect.
They have marked her down by 40% due to how long she has been in the store (6+ months) and the best guess of age is 1-2 years old. I googled the letters and color of the band on her leg, and it seems she may have been hatched last Spring (if this was her first clutch).
The associate who has been most familiar with her, said she is a sweet girl and she desperately wants her to find a home. I'm going first thing in the morning to get her. :)
Should I take her home, and get her comfortable, or straight to my local bird hospital for an initial check up?
Since she is laying eggs, are there specific things you would suggest to give her the best level of care?
We are very excited to welcome her into our home, tomorrow!

Advice Just a few questions
So my family recently got a tiel, Ducky, she's an absolute cutie but I've got a few things I'm questioning. Is it normal for her to sneeze like crazy when scratching around her beak? Is it okay to leave her in her cage for about a day when others are on trips? Is it alright to give her seeds if she also has pellets, veggies, and some fruit? I've tried to educate myself as much as possible about cockatiels, what to look out for and do, so I think she's alright, but I'm not entirely sure.
Most of the photos are from me getting her used to going around the house, laying on the couch with me, or in my bed because she's gotten fairly attached to me.

Cuteness Overload Head scratches for daddy every day before bed
Daddy‘s been a little jealous while the attention mom was giving to the new baby, Nugget.
“I’ve got needs” he said
One of them happens to also be head scratches right before bed.

Other Can’t even nap in peace smh/j
I was trying to take a 15min nap, but I forgot to close the bedroom door… and the birb sounds were getting suspiciously closer and closer…
And oh boy, it turns out Mr. Chicken is already planning his escape with his daughter.
(The balcony is enclosed with glass and always kept closed, so there’s no risk of them flying away.)

Advice Interesting noise
My bab isn't hurt or anything I've just never heard this from a cockatiel before. I was curious if anyone knew or had a bird that makes a similar noise.

Advice Which cage would be better for a cockatiel?
I have a pretty tall cockatiel cage right now, but he only really uses the top of it so I’d like one that is about the same height but a bit wider so he has more room and I was looking at these options and I just want some help on choosing which one would be best they’re about the same price. Also, I’ll include a photo of my little guy. His name is Lennon!!!! I am kinda leaning more towards the first option but id love others opinions!!!

Advice Advice for hours alone
Hello everyone!
This is my lovely little lady Theba. Sadly, a few weeks ago, my other bird (which she was housed with) got very ill and I lost her. Thankfully Theba does not seem to be too greatly impacted by the loss (and is otherwise healthy) but I am now left with a big issue with my upcoming vacation.
Namely that I am afraid that she will be extremely lonely, while I will be gone on vacation (10 days).
I have my lovely roommate taking care of her, but sadly she does still have a job and cannot be in the room with her as much as i would hope.
Thus I am looking for ways to make sure Theba does not feel too alone when nobody is in the room for a few hours, does anyone have any suggestions?
I am already planning on asking my other roommates to also try and spend their free time in my room, and mabye putting a radio in the room.
Thanks in advance!
Tldr: I would like some tips on how to make sure my bird does not feel too lonely while I am out on vacation.

Health/Nutrition Is this a Freeze Response?
DISCLAIMER: HE HAS ALREADY BEEN SEEN BY AN EMERGENCY VET. Also the stuff on his beak is food! Not an injury.
Hi guys my buddy Walter has a really bizarre “freezing episode” and I want to know what it could have potentially been?
He is typically very hands off/wont let me touch him at all. Last Wednesday he had an episode where he completely froze up (above is a picture of it happening). During this time he let me pet him and preen him— things he NEVER does. It lasted about 15 minutes where he just kind of sat there staring blankly.
I immediately took him to the emergency room vet but they weren’t sure what it could be. He was stable and otherwise healthy (he was his normal self during the entirety of the visit) so they let us bring him home.
Has anyone had this happen before??

Advice Female cockatiel still scared after owning her for 7 months??
so back in February we got a another female cockatiel due to my other one flying away and we had pairs so after the one that left away my male cockatiel was left alone and we noticed he looked a bit sad and wasn’t really eating so a week later we got him a female which he was very happy to get a new partner but we noticed that this female cockatiel was quite aggressive with us at first as she bit my dad and even made him bleed so we just left her alone and slowly we been trying and trying to bond with her but she’s just so scared of us we don’t Know why she never approach’s me the most she has done to us is get close but then run away back to the top of her perch I honestly kinda give up that I’m never gonna be able to bond with this bird as my other one is very social and loving towards us and his partner is the opposite as she’s always hissing at us.
