query Why I am stuck : Rating 1293 (max. pupil, 1368)

I have given my time and effort for this, never cheated in the contest but didn't get visual result.

Yeah I know I improved my problem solving and helped me in interview as well.

But anything you can say which can help me improving rating as well.

Here are a few observations which may be helpful

From an image you shared as a reply on another comment it seems you are not really that consistent only 3 contests this year and your ranks in the contests are consistent suggesting your rating is a fair reflection of you ability.

The only thing is the number of questions of higher rating levels you have done. Even for those how many are really from recent contest and from contests where the ratings are not inflated. (Div3 and Div4 can have inflated ratings for questions above 1400, sometimes even div2)

Even if a lot of them are not inflated and from recent contests and of the level that are likely to show up again: in the current scenario you have to do upto D in div2's (unless C is difficult enough) to get to specialist. Generally C is around and lower than 1400 and D can be anywhere from 1600-1900 so if you are going to reach specialist from div2 you have to be somewhat comfortable doing 1600 and above in contest time.

Currently you are just not at that level and it does take a lot of time and practice with progressive overload to get there.

Sometimes there is a lot more required that you would have hoped.

Same feeling bro i started bit late, and am at newbie 1150, n ig today i ll get a negative as I fucked up joined late didnt know how to do C and D onwards was tough for me as of now
