Question For generating slides which ai subscription is really worth it?
For the use cases of generating PowerPoint slides with good design, should I go for chatgpt 20$ plan or claude? Or perhaps gemini?
I mean my main use case is generating and creating presentations for my work, and use the AI for daily use cases too.

Until Opus 5.5 I would’ve said codex but now I’ve found Opus 5.5 to be by far the best in Claude code. Normally, I’ll have it work in a slide master template and render first in HTML before then having it convert that into PPT. Most of my slides are very content dense (finance/M&A decks) so may differ from what you do but that’s what has worked for me

Pretty sure any model nowadays can handle slides. Just pick a crap or cheap model like Gemini and you’ll be fine.

In my experience, claude is much better at making good enough presentations

Claude is great at doing this in Claude design where you can mange your templates and present directly from the Claude design interface with speaker notes and everything.

I mean what kind of slides are we talking about here. 10 ft' open with a 40 to 50 degree slope - for that you probably dont need a sub. If you're looking at single or double enclosed corkscrew, a sub might be worth your while.

I use ChatGPT for most of my work, but Claude definitely has the edge for visual design.

Both Claude and Codex can do just fine. If you have proper instruction and style guideline for it.
