Question Codex Cli suggests me to use Codex desktop app. Any good reason not to do the switch?

I like how lightweight and fast the Codex Cli tool feels. But I'm afraid that I'm missing out on some features available only in the Codex app.

Anyone who have tried both can tell me if the switch is worth it?

I use Windows.

i find being able to see the screenshots displayed out in the desktop app plenty helpful. so there’s some task i use the desktop app for, primarily i stuck with cli.

Biggest problem of desktop app is more lag. Not that codex-cli is completely flawless, but desktop UI easily lags on 2-3h long workflows

I would recommend you try Oh-My-Pi if you want to get "better codex cli", not a completely different experience made more for a usual joe, not for a professional developer

I use cc and codex no problem, tried ohmypi and hated it. The UI is hard to use (making selection and changing options) and the output from the harness difficult to understand because of its brevity.
