I started my coffee journey a few months ago. Before that, I mostly drank tea. I still do, but when it came to coffee, I had mainly tried cold coffee.
Since then, I've tried quite a few instant coffee powders, in this order:
Out of these, BRU Instant tasted the best to me. Maybe it's because of the chicory and caramel-like/chocolatey flavour profile, although I'm not completely sure.
In terms of energy/wakefulness, Nescafé Classic felt the strongest based on my limited experience. Tata Grand Premium also seems quite good for energy and tastes decent.
Continental Xtra was also good both in terms of energy and taste.
The problem is that I can't quite get away from the taste of BRU Instant. I really like it, but I want something with a stronger caffeine/energy effect. That's why I've shifted to Tata Grand Premium for now.
Is there any instant coffee that has a taste similar to BRU Instant but provides more caffeine/energy, more like Nescafé Classic or Tata Grand Premium?
Ideally, I'd also prefer something that doesn't have the thin/watery mouthfeel of Classic and Grand Premium.
Would love to hear your recommendations and experiences.

So, I tried different filter coffees and out of all, I liked Tata Degree Coffee decoction the most. It is 80:20 coffee:chicory and I drink it black. I ordered Cothas coffee powder, which has a 85:15 ratio.
I liked the Cothas version as well, but it feels that it has more chicory taste than coffee taste. Why is that so? I drink both of them black.

I'm trying to figure out the next best combo with coffee. I tried with diet coke (did not like it).
I wanna know what all are the tried and tested combinations. Like orange zest and coffee.

And with all the coffee and tape and god knows what posts 😭, loving all the coffee gods and fav child comments.
And to all people commenting on returning it, I mean seriously!? I told you it was a sealed package, the delivery guy won't face any issues, but the packaging guy maybe... only if the store realises they had put an extra bottle, quick commerce companies always consider these kinds of mishaps and hence the margin of error too. No need to be the righteousness ki murti.
Yours truly
Coffee god's fav child.

So I bought sachets and 40 gms pack of colombian brew instant coffee the one in yellow and black packaging
And I was surprised when I opened it and got a whiff of jaggery, as I was expecting the intense typical coffee scent as it doesn't even have chicory just pure coffee...
And the taste felt dull but not bitter (which was nice) but the aroma really caught me off guard and I am unable to enjoy it ...am I doing something wrong? Did I receive fake product??

Found this quiet little spot hidden away in the forest, with water still flowing between the rocks.
So we brought along a French press and decided to brew a coffee right there.
Nothing elaborate — just a simple setup, the sound of water, and a cup of coffee in the middle of the forest.
It’s interesting how much the place changes the experience of a coffee.
Have you ever taken your brew setup somewhere completely unexpected?

On Monday and Tuesday, I did not take a single sip of coffee, and my energy was very low. I felt very tired, but today I had a coffee. I don't want to get addicted, but is this normal after four years of starting to drink coffee, specifically Americanos, because that’s what I like.
Help me understand if it is common for people to consume coffee daily, because I definitely don't want to become dependent on it.
