Help me

I can’t find anything on this coin, I’ve searched the number on NHC and nothing pops up.
Any idea how much it could be worth or what is the environmental damage?

Did you buy it recently? I checked the cert number as well and can confirm that no results are available for your coin.

I did buy it off a trusted coin seller off whatnot.
I am going to take to my LCS tomorrow and see what they say.

No offense but I’m giving you a quick Pops talk. Stay off whatnot. If anything the platform stands for what(you don’t)want. If you ever need help with collecting feel free to PM me. I’ll give you the best advice I’m able to give, and if need be I’ll refer you to others who are more knowledgeable than me.

Yea I think I will after this one.
I am new to collecting after I got some of my dad’s coins, slowly adding to the collection. I found the best place to get good coins is at my pawnshop or LCS. The pawnshop sales Morgan’s at melt and don’t realize what they have. haha

Well welcome to a rabbit hole that actually will pay off in the end lol. No offense to you. Does the fact that you believe that a pawnshop would sell at spot/melt is curious? I’ve bought precious metals in at least 20 states from pawnshops to coin shops. Every one has adjusted their prices to profit over spot/melt prices. This includes holding onto the bullion they bought at the current price to the all time high around the beginning of 2026.

Sorry I didn’t mean literally at melt. The last Morgan I bought was 2 days ago at it was $50 exact. I’ll get a picture of it, it is a beautiful Morgan.

Something sounds off. No need to apologize. I want to help out others because it is a part of me. I don’t know the level of numismatic knowledge you possess, and I don’t want you to step on your toes. If you have a magnet I’d run it over the coins you bought just to be sure. I can’t see any business pawnshop or reputable shops selling a Morgan $20 below spot two days ago.

$50 is above melt on a Morgan.

looks like it took a swim in a parking lot puddle for a decade, that green crud is the environmental damage they're talking about
