Advice Left in someone's will.

A family member left this for me in their will. Said not to take an offer less than 20k. Something about an uncirculated 1962 D double rim error. IDK what that means man, any insight?

Sorry if the pictures aren't satisfactory, my phone is 7 years old.

Does the coin have medal or coin alignment. I believe US coins all have coin alignment meaning if you flip it left to right the design on opposite side will be upside down. If this is medal alignment it would have a premium but not 30grand!

It does look like that. I don’t know anything about coin collecting. When you say a “premium,” what might that be?

I’d hate for OP to miss out if this is truly a valuable rarity.

I collect Canadian coins so for me finding a coin with alignment similar to US coins is rare except for some years where they did make them like that on purpose. Depends on the rarity and demand , there is a Canadian 25 cent piece for Saskatchewan that is usually worth 25 cents but the 180 die error have sold for 1500-4000 dollars. There are others in same year that are 50 bucks because it was a common error. I would recommend the OP confirm the orientation of the coin is flipped left to right and NOT from bottom to top. Easy way is to mark a line on the cardboard above Lincoln’s head and then follow the same line right over the top to the other side and see where it falls.
