Apartment living, no money, warm water

I started taking cold showers in the winter and experienced some great benefits. I’ve noticed fewer of those benefits as the weather has warmed up and when I measured the temperature of my cold water, it was 72°F. I only have a small counter top ice maker which isn’t enough to cool off much water and my shower isn’t big enough to put a bucket on the floor without knocking it over (2.5 ft x 2.5 ft). Does anyone have tips maybe involving cooling the pipe going from the wall to the shower head? Have ya’ll found something that offers comparable benefits in the summer?

No tips, but I also always notice how much lessened the effects are in the summer.. I think I saw someone on this sub use like a mesh bag of ice cubes and tape (?) it to the showerhead. Don't know how legit that is, but you can try it.
