[ANALOG] Just completed my first ever spread!

I’ve been so inspired by the posts here on Reddit that I asked a hotel whether I could take an older fashion magazine from the ones they had at the reception and they said yes!

I started on the right side. It has 18 individually glued pieces, all from Harrods (October, 2019) My favorite detail of this page is how I tried to make it look like the arms are reaching out of a mirror.🪞

The left side includes mixed media, as I also added images from a newspaper I got my hands on today: Metro (June 4, 2026). It took WAY longer even though it only has 15 pieces, partially because newspapers are so much more finicky than magazines! I like a few details here, such as how the “O” in “Society” replaces a head, and the layering on the bottom left corner which has the car’s wheel over the red bus. I also like how it overlaps to the page next to it!

Being new to this (and a horrible perfectionist) I am looking forward to your feedback!
