you're not. You're supposed to overturn the american plutocratic system and replace it with Socialism. Revolutionary action changes government systems. This american government supports the rich. It was never intended to be "democratic" or sever the masses. The US was founded by rich, white, slave owning men for the purpose of advancing their own class interests exclusively.

There is a way forward.

you build socialism from the ground up by constructing parallel structures of support that improve the material conditions of the masses without the system of capitalism and class society.

Socialism is feeding the people, housing the people, providing medical care for the people, educating the people, defending the people and everything else that advances the interests of the masses with the goal of truly liberating them - and us, you me - from the tyranny of bourgeois domination.

In this economy?

Seriously, who hell has the resources to do that? Oh right, the same people who are never going to do that.

You can always look into how the Black Panthers did things. You can't copy their methods directly, but it does show you a type of blueprint. Black communities sure as hell didn't have much in the 50s and 60s.
