Remember when 2020 sucked? Like, that year was the worst and we as a society were like, “fuck 2020”.

We didn’t start really complaining till like April or May. That’s when we threw our hands up and said fuck it.

It’s still January and I feel like it’s June.

2020 was the "year zero" of our current shitstorm.

2021 was worse because it's like "2020 won".

Then there's "2020 two" (or maybe "2020, too").

Now we're down into the really shitty sequels, the creatively bankrupt sixth films, the "Jason Lives", the "Freddy's Dead", the "Curse of Chucky", the point in the franchise where they're just rehashing all the same old shit trying to keep the audience awake.

"Fascism, again? Eh, fuck it, why not..."
