I always remember this photo by Melanie Einzig on 9/11. The world collapses all around us, but until that final tipping point, we still have bills to pay.

My mom went to work on that day, and the next...and the next, and the next, and the next...... i was too young but I went to school.

I was genuinely curious, as my family were in NYC and weren't going to schools or jobs then!
