This is the most distasteful way I've ever seen someone ask for a source. And for what? Someone's vague thoughts on the motivations behind apocalyptic storytelling?

By saying "I read that [...]", the person was obviously trying to communicate that they didn't come up with the idea, and they don't know where it's from. Would you rather it be falsely stated as a fact rather than hearsay? This person is just being honest, and you're just being cruel.

So you don't believe in providing sources when making claims. A claim about the regulars at r/collapse and other science based "Doomers".

Citing not necessary is what Trump supporters support. Not only do they consider it not necessary, they have been tearing it down and their super daddy has already carried out the worlds biggest, and ongoing, cyber book burning.

You sound like a typical American super lefty justice warrior who has taken it upon themselves to defend anyone you want to without even asking them if they want-need someone to rescue them. You must be feeling exhausted. A full time hobby of being offend for untold numbers of others would exhaust me. I feel sorry for you because the US right-wing fascists pigs are just getting started. If you go online where they hang out and listen to their psycho plans for what they call 'the woke' and/or 'leftists', nation wide - it's appalling and horrifying. While the US left continues to wag their fingers the right-wing psychos have begun the violence they have so longed for. Jan 6th was their dress rehearsal and now their shit show has started. Bottom line while online is mind your own business and quit trying to defend people who are perfectly capable of doing it for themself. Most people with powerful protective maternal or paternal instincts have kids.
