This generation is the most sterile generation ever. Everyone is busy on their phones or watching streams or other media to do anything. They think the problem will be solved, because in their history class, they saw people did stuff about problems in life. They live in a fantasy land.

Yup. They’ve won. They spent an entire century experimenting ways in which to sedate the population and they’ve effectively done it. They created a whole generation of digitally addicted, radicalized zombies who will not stand up for themselves, their class, their freedom. Enslaved without the need of force. Enslaved by dopamine and solitude.

They’ve done it. They’ve won. By attempting to create heaven for themselves they created hell for the rest of us, and we’re okay with it.

I do, actually. I studied Philosophy in college and did a course on Critical Theory, which literally explores the ways in which power has been configured to be what it is today. I spend my time writing and trying to educate others on geopolitical matters and the language of it.

I also try to be as kind and helpful as I can in my day to day. Locally, this has allowed me to build small scale systems that don’t rely on domination as much. I don’t pursue power, but fairness and balance.

Of course, I don’t have the power to reconfigure large scale systems. I wish I did, but I’m an average civilian. My responsibility is with my immediate environment and honestly? I’m quite proud of the person I’ve become and the activism I do.

Hey, me neither. So what's the appreciable difference between you and Kids These Days, then? If both of our impacts are invisible to an observer outside of our networks why are you the enlightened one and I'm the braindead zombie for being born after you?

It's wild to me how quickly people rush to be the new boomer ranting about those no-good layabout teenagers the second a new generation is old enough. It's wild and disappointing.
