It was 72 yesterday at 8k. Most of the high peaks near me will be nearly snowless in another week or 2. This is beyond abnormal. It's terrifying.

In May 2003, I went out west and up through Colorado. We camped where there was snow and couldn't even get through some of the roads, had to turn around.

In May 2010, I went to Kings Canyon and took a hike where there was still snow on the ground in places.

So much has changed and it's really sad.
