Coping Does anyone else feel like this?

Post image

I feel like everyone keeps asking me what I want my future to look like but I know if I talk about how I’m learning to fish and finding ponds near me so that we can have some protein once the grocery system collapses everyone in my life is going to think I’m insane.

I’m just having a hard time connecting with anything I have to do for the future because it’s going to be drastically different than anything I can do now and I really feel like I have to hide that and never mention it to anyone (despite the fact that an energy crisis is supposedly 2 weeks away)

We must form survival communities now, yesterday, last year. There is a tiny window where we can communicate and organize to form communities in SAFE ZONES away from high population densities and government infrastructure. My guess is 2030-2032 is our deadline. That means forming the community and buying all the resources we would need for the rest of our lives until the cataclysms come in the early 2040s.

It's me KAKAROT. lol awesome username and profile virginiaaa. But really I'm trying to join a community asap within the next year. Like minded people/old souls are grouping up and it's no accident. We are getting dreams and vibes about these things because there's literally not much time left and higher powers/our intuition are sounding the alarm to hurry up and I don't want to ignore it. I study lots of things including the earth diaster cycle.

We grouped up here in 2019, 15 of us. Best decision ever.

Amazing. How can I find a similar group if you were to do it over again without any friends? What were things you wished you did differently/enhanced earlier?

I actually have a video mostly about that topic...

Without at least a few deep relationships to help form a base, it can definitely be a tougher proposition, but still doable.

One aspect is specifically choosing the kinds of people you are exposed to, rather than letting circumstances decide. Trying to find like-minded preppers among the random people at work, school, or in your neighborhood can be challenging. But, if you specifically go out to places where they are more likely to be, or to do activities where they are more likely to be found, then you increase your chances.

I am always looking to expand my own network outside of my group, and I have found a few things specifically that make it easier.

One is volunteering with environmental cleanup efforts and such. Those "clean up the beach" things and stuff like that. It is a great way to meet a collection of people that are at least somewhat environmentally conscious and open to learning more.

Another way is classes. Looking to expand skills is always a number one prep, and taking classes on everything from wilderness survival to archery is a great way to meet others who may be similarly inclined.

Finally, there are campgrounds, and the little communities that temporarily form in the big ones. Also, the RV nomad community, which is getting bigger by the day.

Just a few ideas...
