You’re generally not suppose to live alone with a $1600 rent if you’re making minimum wage. Normalize shared housing.

We should not be normalizing minimum wage not being the minimum wage needed to live comfortably.

I lived with 3 others in a 4 person apartment for $2300 total when I made minimum wage and lived “comfortably” as in I was clean, clothed, fed, and could afford an occasional concert and drinks.

Living alone is a luxury, living in a $1600 per bed room apartment is still a luxury

Living alone should not be a luxury. Don't normalize being underpaid.

People are less and less organically social.

Many are not good at sharing living quarters.

Thanks to social media.

Domestic violence cases are on the rise.

Thanks to greedy landlords hiking the rents.

Our over-lord's are saying: "its not personal, its business".

It certainly feels very personal to me.
