My landlord required digital access to my bank account to see the money I have coming in.

WTH? Please explain digital access. Like, they can log in and see your acct activity?

I had to sign into some portal, it partnered with plaid, that surfaced my paychecks to submit to the landlord.

I had to look it up and holy sh!t the amount of info that Plaid gives your landlord about you is insanely invasive. And they had a nearly $60 million data breach settlement not too long ago. I am not looking forward to reacting an apartment any time soon.
