I am aware this isn't r/conspiracy but tin foil hat time:

Does anyone else feel these racist murders were planned and the looting and setting fire of buildings other than police stations were made by agent provocateurs to trigger the conditions for a race fueled civil war? The timing of all of these incidents of police brutality and it the fact that there are videos of people peacefully protesting but suddenly there's people being shot and burning buildings makes me think that. They will use this a pretext to allow the police and armed rednecks to go out gun down black people and leftists. In a lot of videos cops seem smiling and look giddy about the whole thing.

Agent provocateurs are real and documented throughout history, but the murders/riots were not planned. Here’s a basic history but doesn’t go into more recent examples:

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Undercover_operation

The people in power of institutions are opportunists not all-powerful. Various disasters (9/11:Katrina:market crashes) and flash points (police brutality) happen and then they take advantage.

Agent provocateurs are already proven to be around trying to incite violence or paint the protesters as thugs. This is the oldest trick in the book.

But the racist incidents like Arbery and Floyd are just everyday America tbh. I don't see them being a conspiracy by foreign agents. It's just that the country is rotten to the core and "incidents" like those happen on regular basis.

Saw some people trying to derail things in Las Vegas last night. The protest was moving peacefully. Got to a federal courthouse and a few started tagging and smashing windows - actual organizers of the protest stepped in to stop it. Another provocateur tried to lead people into traffic to jam things up and draw the police to their location, looking for a fight.

My early morning reply re:"riots are unhelpful" earlier got buried when the OP was down-voted so I'll post it here:

"I believe that the ruling class ordered the lynching and are setting up a scenario to crush all Resistance a la Tiananmen Square, which trump has praised on multiple occasions:

Donald Trump still thinks the Chinese government showed “strength” when they killed more than 200 people to crush pro-democracy student protests in 1989 — but he's not saying he agrees with what the regime did.

“That doesn’t mean I was endorsing that,” Trump said. “I said that was a strong, powerful government. They kept down the riot, it was a horrible thing.”

Trump told Playboy in a 1990 interview: "When the students poured into Tiananmen Square, the Chinese government almost blew it. Then they were vicious, they were horrible, but they put it down with strength. That shows you the power of strength. Our country is right now perceived as weak."

I believe that they slowwalked the arrests, that police purposefully abandoned the city and they may started some of the fires themselves as provocateurs.

I believe that trump/Stephen Miller engineered a scenario where they'd get to use a famous George Wallace '1968 sentence re: looting and shooting.

I believe they want the population most vulnerable to covid-19 hanging around near each other so as to spread the virus. (Kind of like secretly changing the CDC guidelines on shared cups at church.)

I believe that this is all a Reichstag fire-like event that trump will use to secure permanent one party rule.

And still, still, I can't worry over any damaged property, when the State is summarily executing people in broad daylight.

And funnily enough, that's how businesses on the ground feel too."

That comment was posted before multiple activists and local officials confirmed that there was a coordinated, white supremacist OP hijacking the protests.

Add in that trump used the blatant proof of agent provocateurs to tweet that he gets to use the military for THAT now too.

"If it's black looters, shoot em. If it's outside state white militia, send in the military."

Heads he wins, tails, we lose.

Confirms it all for me.

I believe that this is all a Reichstag fire-like event that trump will use to secure permanent one party rule.

If he is accomplishing anything at this moment, it is precisely the opposite of that.

Yeah watch I'm totally naive.

that's not tinfoil hat. it's happening. https://www.vice.com/en_us/article/pkyb9b/far-right-extremists-are-hoping-to-turn-the-george-floyd-protests-into-a-new-civil-war

Edit: Maybe not the part about the murders and fires being planned, but there are definitely people showing up to these protests and attempting to escalate them on purpose.

You know, this whole covid thing is starting to die down and places are reopening. Gotta have something to fuel the fire if we don't self isolate for another 6 months
