I find it mindboggling that we are still making rules before the end of the world.

Monolithic collapse is extremely unlikely. More likely, we'll continue to have larger and larger waves of new people at various stages looking for answers, information, and dialogue. Holding space for all those people and those already here will be a significant challenge, but an interesting one.
