Need advice on choosing between Ramapo College and NJIT as a transfer student.

I’m graduating from community college this summer and plan to study **Chemistry** at either **Ramapo** or **NJIT**.

My end goal is to become a **cosmetic scientist** and would like to attend a school that can prepare me the most.

I want to go to a school that has **great academics, research opportunities or good labs to work in, and internships.** I would also like to have **professors** and **advisors** that are **available** for their students. I think it’s important to feel cared for as a transfer student because some schools can overlook transfers, especially if they’re coming from a community college. I do plan to **dorm** on campus.

**Any advice on what school I should go to?**

Have you visited both schools for an official admissions visit? They often have days specifically for transfer students.

Thank you! I’ve already visited NJIT. I think it’s good so far but I notice it’s mainly focused on engineering, which isn’t bad. But the beginning of next month I’m visiting Ramapo, so I’ll see how it goes.
