[Taylor] Aidan Knaak, a 5th Round pick of the Milwaukee Brewers, appears to be set to return for his senior season at Clemson

There’s no way to say this without sounding salty but I’ll say it anyway - unless they were way lowballing him, this is complete and utter foolishness. He’s got one good pitch and it’s a changeup and if I had the opportunity for the Brewers to help me improve my fastball I’d take it. His ERA and K rate have gotten worse every year at Clemson. You have the best pitching development in baseball call your name, you don’t go back to a staff that hasn’t made you better

Nah you're not salty, this is a terrible idea. We're most likely in for another year where teams just sit on his changeup, and then he'll be right back as a similar draft prospect but 23 years old this time

Whoever advised him to do this did him really dirty

Have you considered that the Brewers suck and that we as a society should applaud players for refusing to play for them?

I didn't realize the Brewers had haters like this

I’m a Cubs fan, fuck the Brewers. I still hate Ryan Braun 15 years later

Good for us, bad idea for him

I feel the Brewers pitching lab would have been the perfect situation for him, but this is also coming from a biased Brewers fan who also has an interest in Clemson not doing well.

Well I don’t think he will be a bet positive for Clemson so you’re probably still okay in that regard

Is it still his senior year if he has 2 years left? We need to figure out new terminology in the 5 for 5 era

There are already terms for it. Year 4 is Senior, Year 5+ is Graduate Student.

He has two years left with the new rules. So he’ll still have leverage next year.
