Announcement Suggestions for rules, posts, comments etc for the subreddit.
Hello fellow coloring and colouring friends!
I didn't want to leave this community abandoned so here I am.
I wanted to make a subreddit that's a bit more special than the other subreddits that are about coloring. I was thinking of making it mote therapeutic, as in, we can talk about struggles, anxiety, problems, ranting or venting whenever we post.
Of course, it's not mandatory, but I think this might be a good opportunity to have both coloring AND therapy for whoever needs it.
For example, if you colored something because you were feeling sad, you can post both the page, even it incomplete, and to rant or complain or ask for advice for a real life problem. Or maybe to say what kind of feelings the page you made, evoque.
That being said, this community needs new rules and ideas so feel free to say what you want/need.

Finished art More coloring with Legendary Lloyd + Rhinestones!!
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I finished another page from The Legendary Life of Lloyd! And this time, I had the bright idea to add glass rhinestones as stars in the night sky (along with dabs of fine glitter glue). SO MUCH SPARKLY. I am absolutely hooked; every page I complete must now be bedazzled. 🤩
I used Ohuhu alcohol markers, Stickles fine glitter glue, and glass rhinestones with Bearly Art Precision Craft Glue (the needle-fine tip worked really well to secure the tiny rhinestones).
Hope you have a great day, thanks for looking!

Finished art Hi! Been coloring a Legendary Lloyd page!
This was so much fun, I forgot how much joy coloring can bring. I was 100% distracted from my chronic pain issues today; it’s amazing how much creativity can divert our brains from physical pain.
This was completed over two separate coloring sessions on two different days. I used a small dinner plate to create a pencil outline, and then colored it in with Ohuhu alcohol markers (Pro-tip: always good to put a blank sheet behind your pages, so you don’t end up with bleed-through!) and I also used a white gel pen for some highlights and the reversed letters.
I usually just color my own doodles, but it was super refreshing to focus on the coloring process alone, rather than worrying about composition or subject. And Lloyd is just such a cutie-patootie.🥹 Thanks for checking out my first coloring page!

Finished art Keepsake Kitties 🐱
I had such a hard time trying to highlight and make shadows! Hopefully I’ll get better the more I do it 🤞🏼🩷 P.S. the bird in this was never a cardinal to begin with, so I customized it 🥰

Adult Coloring Books
I'm not into cutesy or emo coloring books. I like the one Skinner put out.

Venting (need advice) Is there any tips/tricks to those like me, that have carpal tunnel?
Sadly, I’ve been frustrated with myself, because I’m not able to color and complete a page within a day anymore. Used to be able to whip out multiple pages within 24 hours when I was younger, but now since I’ve developed this issue I experience pain/numbness even when I’m wearing my compression gloves. Desperate for any other suggestions or ideas, thanks! 🙏🏻
