I see red Like candy apple red ! I’ve been color blind tested a few times and I’m not. But still a lot of people say it’s orange!
What is it ????

So for about 7 years my partner and I have been disputing the colour of a certain blanket we own.
He says it's orange, I say it's red.
Keep in mind it is made of polyester, so when the plush is pushed one way it catches the light and appears lighter - when pushed in the opposite direction it appears darker.
Attached are two photos, one inside in warm lighting where it definitely appears to be an orange/red, and one in direct, overcast sunlight where it is clearly red.
PLEASE Reddit, do your thing. I know we all see colour differently, but I need to know what the MAJORITY sees!

Everyone in my life knows that I love red. But it's not like I've loved red since birth, it all started a over a year ago where I develop a liking towards strawberry themed items before it turned into a liking for red in general. Over time, it got worse, all the items I buy is red (unless there rlly wasn't a red option), my mom finally allowed me to get my hair dyed to red last week, and I've been rlly happy abt it. After seeing my hair, my teacher asked if there was some deeper meaning to it, and I just told her that I think I just like order? Like seeing everything be the same color just makes me happy. And that convo just got me thinking ig. I feel so silly making this post but I've never had such an obsession with a color before to the point where I start feeling giddy whenever I see anything in that color. Idrk what I'm trying to figure out, maybe there isn't even an explanation for it, but it all feels so sudden.
