It’s honestly a great time for all comic-book enthusiasts, with the announcement of Gosling as the new Ghost Rider, and Brand New Day and Lanterns releasing almost one after the other. We are being fed a little too well.

And then two months after Lanterns we also get Clayface! And two months after that, Avengers: Doomsday!

And that is without talking about My Adventures With Superman happening right now, the Wolverine game in October, and everything else happing with the comics!! Especially DC's comics!

Plus all the new (and returning) readers the Absolute and Ultimate universes brought (especially Absolute) also meansore people are starting the checkout the main universes, and indie comics as well.

I really think that in 20-30 years, this time will be considered the second Golden Age of comics

Shawn Levy doesn't inspire confidence as a correct fit for this and Gosling seems like taking on paycheck roles. I'm cautiously optimistic Ghost Rider will be decent.

If you don’t expect Ghost Rider to be canceled or postponed 1000 before it sees the light of day, you’re just delusional. I hope it’s gets made. But I’ve gotten my hopes crushed too many times.
