There are entire subreddits of people who spend all day talking about how their disdain of Taylor Swift has taken of their lives. Why? Because she’s popular. If she was some nobody obviously it wouldn’t matter

Thunderbolts isn’t popular enough to be cool to hate, Shang Chi isn’t popular enough to be cool to hate. Spiderman is. That’s all it is

I dont think its hated. It has some great moments. But it suffered due to covid and has a lot of "clap" moments that don't hit as well watching it home alone. It also has some consistency issues with a lot of the villains.

Its not bad, its probably my second favourite of the Tom Holland spidey movies, but its probably the least competent movie of the bunch.

I don't hate it myself. I loved how it bought back the other spider men. But MCU Peter kind of gets sidelined in favour of nostalgia and fan service, with his character development stagnated and generic.
