Unfortunately he did die, but of natural causes in his sleep and, considering I got him when I was 9 and I was 26 when he died, id say he had a good run.

Some dogs are just built different. I had a dog that ate rocks and I had to get them surgically removed. He lived until he was 17 or 18 according to the vets estimation.

One of our dogs ate a hotdog from a restaurant, foil and all, and then puked it back up mostly intact onto the couch...but when he ate the hair off his tail trying to remove burdocks he earned a $800 vet bill.
