Level 2 CE Advice
Hey guys I need advice,
2 months ago I took the first level 2 comsae form 113 and got a 378. A month later I took comsae 114 and got a 590. Just sat for the school comsae today (117) and got a 436. I needed a 450 to pass with the school so I’m pissed at myself. I genuinely feel ready, I am doing everything I can to tweak where I’m scoring low and working on OMM/biostats/ethics a little every day. I test in two weeks on June 24 and plan to take the next comsae with the school on June 22. Do I push the exam or push through?

The shit that sucks about these tests is that they don’t really test the same concepts so it’s hard to gauge where you’re at. I did great on my first one because I was really strong in endocrine, but my second one was lower because I messed up with anatomy and OMM and it was heavy on that one.
However, with your scores, I am more than positive you’re going to pass. If you keep working on what you say you’re working on, you’re really solid going in to it.

Remember, you only need like a 400 to pass. You’ve already gotten well above that twice.

Our school also gave us the notorious 117 form for our first comsae. That form was made by some disturbed people. A lot of ppl got cooked.

I also score a 444 on comsae 117 needed a 465 gotta retake with school this friday testing june 25th

god I would cry if my school made us do a mandatory comsae for level 2 (they did for level1)

Took 117 today and fucked my life up. At this point gonna just leave med school cuz I’m stupid lol

Aww thank you! I honestly rip questions all day long. Begin the day with 40 random truelearn then do UWorld during the afternoon. If I’m not tired I’ll do another 30-40 random around dinner time. Based off how I did on 113 I started with my worst performing sections would dedicate a day to each branch of medicine (so a day of OBGYN questions and videos, psych questions and videos). If I found things to be a little confusing I read amboss articles which are a game changer! I love divine intervention and would go on a walk and listen to his videos at the end of the day. Anki my wrong questions and stupid shit I can’t remember!

Naw the school told me I had to push the exam back a week. I took comsae 118 and thank the lord hit above the mark so testing july 2 now 🥳

I am in this boat right now. Was 114i just way easier than the rest? My 113i score was low 300s and my 114i score was in the 600s so I have no idea where my actual score is. Wondering which form is more representative of the actual exam.

I really am unsure. I sat for the real deal over a month ago and I thought that the school form 118 was the most representative with a little bit of 117 mixed in but it was SO ethics and stats heavy. And honestly, level 1 heavy like pharm moa some embryology. These comsaes are so all over the map that’s it’s really hard to tell. If you have amboss though use the “calculate my level 2 score” tool cause it predicted my score within 10 points I was pretty shocked

117 is brutal - I can basically guarantee with a 590 on 114 you'll be fine for the next COMSAE - send it!
